Our Ballet & Lyrical class is designed as the next step up from Pre-Ballet, while also welcoming dancers aged 7–11 who are starting out in ballet and lyrical at this age group.

Ballet provides the strong technical foundation that supports all areas of dance, developing posture, balance, strength, flexibility, control and classical technique. Lyrical builds on these skills through musicality, expression, emotion and storytelling, allowing dancers to connect technique with performance.

This class is perfect for dancers who want to develop their technique while also exploring the more expressive and emotional side of dance. Students will be encouraged to grow in confidence, develop their movement quality and build a strong foundation for future progression.

Perfect for:

Dancers progressing from Pre-Ballet
Students starting ballet and lyrical at this age
Building strong dance technique
Developing strength, flexibility and control
Dancers who enjoy expressive and musical styles
Students wanting a strong foundation for future dance progression
